Exams!!! Gahhh!!!

Yes, I know this is a mammoth digression from the usual array of harmless food pictures sitting there waiting to be eaten. But the evil exam dates are looming nearer and so be warned, this post will be filled with negative ‘chis’ on exams, which I believe, will just summarise up any student’s feelings of hatred towards exams.

Exams should be abolished. There, I said it. A statement which should not be refuted in any way. How just is it for us to be judged on our knowledge of the whole year just by assessing us based on a 3-hour long paper?? It is so exam-orientated that to get a bloody degree is practically the suction of the life and soul of me. I have aged 4 years if I studied 4 hours. It’s true. Unfortunately -__-

There is no justification for people who have studied hard (not everyone is born smart and not everyone can study smart, I have an IQ of 90+ yes yes laugh laugh). What if an angelic, pure, perfect student (like me ;P) crams away before the exams only to fall sick during the exams? (well, that happened to me for the last 2 years, I pray that the same won’t happen this year). What if our cars broke down on the way to exams? What if we got stuck in the lift on the way to the exam room? What if? What if?? There is no justification in seeking assessment on students who have studied steadily throughout the year and only to be graded in the bahhh!! 3 hour paper -__-

Exams are unhealthy. It does not create a healthy competition among young people as it proclaims to be. Students are dying from exams, as a result of the increase in pressure in studies and all those crap. I pity kids these days. My childhood days were free without and ounce of worry about the looming pile of homework waiting for you when you get home. Isn’t it more fun and educational to educate kids in an enhanced environment of catching grasshoppers, ladybirds, and picking leaves and learning names the original natural way we should?? *sigh*

Not to mention the creation of diseases. Kidney failure, heart disease, obesity (from the huge intake of fast food-well, for some of us including me who resort to fast food as I study last minute, hence the need for faster food), high blood pressure (well, from the pressure-duhh) and practically just about every other disease imaginable. Being glued to the chair for hours just in the company of books is unhealthy. And pathetic.

Exams-orientated society has banned the youth from seeing a bigger picture of the whole beauty of knowledge and wisdom. Everything became a ‘I must win situation’ and it doesn’t help for some to have parents who continually if not continuously remind their children on how so and so’s children did in their exams -__-

Some more my friend has kindly enhanced my knowledge by sending me an sms stating that we practically ‘kill’ 15 trees for the amount of papers that we use in an exam. See!!! No trees, no animals. Gone are the flora and fauna. Exams are so not environmental-friendly. Ablolish it already! Boycott exams ;p

Furthermore, I hate the fact that I am a person who have to make tedious notes for every chapter. I am the analogy of Dory, with short term memory loss. I so envy people with photographic memories *jealous* It just take days, months to slave away memorizing case laws, statutes, principles and everything else that is practically reducing the capacity of my brain’s gigabytes. And it doesn’t help that my brain shuts down after 30 minutes of study -__-

And I hate the fact I need total quietness to study. Why why why??? I geram see people who can just plug in their earphones and start studying. *hmmph* a quiet place would be the library. Yes, definitely, but the college library is soooo cold it is at an ideal temperature to keep corpses and frozen food. Naturally, my brain freezes accordingly as well as my fingers. How to study lidat? -__- But one thing about the coldness is that students who are in the library don’t even bother to converse between themselves due to the inhuman coldness. Hence, the tranquility to study, if you have brought winter jacket or sth -__-

I don’t have sufficient time to read all my textbooks, notes let alone a huge pile of notes that I just got last weekend. Even if I didn’t eat, pee, poop, sleep or do anything else for that matter except for studying, I would not finish what I’m supposed to finish anyway. The tottering pile of books is looking more and more menacing L

I don’t even know how am I gonna lug all my books home for the exams. All the books will contribute to the emptying of my pockets for the payment of excess baggage and consequently, excess baggage means extra fuel consumption for the plane and as a result of that, a less greener environment. BAN EXAMS ALREADY!!! Sigh

All these ranting is making me lethargic. I can’t even bear the sight of my books. The voluminous pile of books that I have to nurse and finish by the next 3 weeks. Why???!!??? Human-degrading treatment.

A loaf of bread to compare the amount of notes I have to read. Gardenia, help boost my memory :(

I rest my case.
